An interesting workshop

The international workshops are part of the teaching methods of the Seventh Art, together with the Regular Course at the International Film and Television School (EICTV), in San Antonio de los Baños. These workshops take place every month between students or filmmakers from all over the world and prestigious audiovisual and film professionals.

A very special and interesting workshop will take place at the EICTV from March 4 to 15: ''Childhood and adolescence in film creation''. This workshop invites film and television professionals to consider children and adolescents as cinematographic authors and to think about how to accompany them in their process of approaching audiovisual language. In addition, there will be a theoretical reflection and a review through various strategies and tools in order to communicate the technical-theoretical knowledge of audiovisual work and its language.

The process will be theoretical-practical, with individual and collective meetings. It is proposed that each member of the workshop develop an audiovisual workshop project for children or adolescents that includes characteristics of their environment and the correct way to transmit a message. It is aimed at graduates or students of a film school or with a related career, who must have experience in audiovisual media. They should send a letter expressing their motivation to receive the workshop.
