Cuban Hero: The Yes of the 24th is also for the Homeland, the Revolution, Martí and Fidel

Havana, Cuba - Ramón Labañino Salazar, Hero of the Republic of Cuba, said in Santiago de Cuba that voting Yes for the new Constitution next Sunday, February 24, also means a Yes for the Homeland, the Revolution, Martí and Fidel.
We will vote Yes because this text represents all the people and defends their most basic rights, he told the press during his participation in the scientific event of the Provincial Assembly of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (Anec) that will conclude this Thursday.
Cubans have the privilege of having free education and health care, as well as a social security that protects them, benefits that are a dream for many countries, stressed Labañino Salazar.
On the Constitution approved by the National Assembly of People's Power and which will be submitted to the consideration of the people, he stated that it is profoundly Marti´s, loyalist and human, that it gathers patriotic values, it does not forget heroes and martyrs, nor history.
Without a doubt it will trace a path towards the future, sustainable, socialist, of love for proletarian and internationalist principles, he said.
Ramón Labañino, vice-president of the national organizing commission of the VIII Congress of Anec, pointed out that the works presented at the event in Santiago de Cuba make concrete contributions to the development of the economy and to national and local problems.
Now, he indicated, the organization develops the provincial assemblies, which summarize the municipal and base ones, which deepened in important topics as the substitution of imports, the management of inventories, the search of new exploitable lines, the internal control, the comptrollership, the introduction of science and the technique in the productive processes and, of course, the internal life, among many others.
Anec, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2019, will hold its VIII Congress from June 12 to 14 in Havana.
