Your artist, a tea, the poet...

On March 6, at the José Rafael Lauzán municipal museum in San Antonio de los Baños, the peña Su artista, un té, el poeta y algo más... was created, guided by Raúl Hernández Montanarro.
Outstanding personalities of Cuban culture have exalted the place with their presence. Hernández Montanarro mentions Rosita Fornés, Farah María, Elena Burque, Beatriz Márquez, Martha Justiniani, María de los Ángeles Santana, Carlos Ruiz de la Tejera, and others who occupy a special place in the heart of the Ariguanabo public.
I also treasure a book with very beautiful writings, including one by Mario Aguirre, where he said: "This cultural promoter, of Marti's thought, is one of those who thinks that "doing is the best way to say", even in the midst of difficulties, we must conceive things with love so that it can be received by the public in the same way'', the artist states.
I love culture, says Raúl. That's why I keep memories of each encounter. We are currently preparing an exhibition at the Municipal Museum, with more than a thousand photos of the artists and their interaction with the public. As part of the Peña, the Ariguanabense Music Festival arose 22 years ago.
In the second half of the year, the Teatro América in Havana will open this cultural space with artists who have shared the stage during this first quarter of the century. On March 10, the celebration will be at the Siboney Cabaret in San Antonio de los Baños, where the 2018 popularity awards will be given to the artists who, during 2018, stayed in the hearts of the Ariguanabenses.
