
Ramallah - Israeli warplanes on Thursday launched four missiles in an area east of Khan Younis village, in the southern blockaded Gaza Strip, local authorities reported.
According to security officials, a reconnaissance aircraft and an F16 fighter fired missiles at the site, which was totally destroyed and nearby properties were damaged; no victims was reported so far.
Israeli warplanes have carried out several raids in the Gaza Strip throughout the night and in the early morning hours, causing panic among the population.
The last bombing of the Israeli aviation in the coastal enclave was recorded in November, when Tel Aviv made raids for several days.
