Health sector workers ready for May Day

Artemisa, Cuba - On the eve of the celebrations for the May Day, the National Union of the Public Health Workers (SNTSP) assumes several activities to celebrate the date throughout the country under the slogan "Unity, Commitment and Victory".
Beautification of centers, painting of premises and the creation of initiatives for the participation of the workers in the parade of the International Workers' Day in each Cuban square, are some of the actions that are carried out these days.
With regard to the mobilization of public health workers in Artemisa and throughout the country, the Secretary General of the National Trade Union of Workers of the sector, Santiago Badía Glez, offered statements to the media.
The worker leader highlighted that this May Day will be a historic day in which more than 450 thousand union members of the sector will ratify in Cuba and in the 68 countries where there is medical collaboration, the will to continue building the society that Fidel Castro bequeathed to us.
