Meanwhile, in the women´s singles, Oropesa will have another opponent from Canada, Talia Ng, on her first outing; while Ortiz will rival Brazilian Jaqueline Lima, according to the official website of the contest.

Roberto Moyinedo, head coach of the Caribbean island national team, told ACN that their goal is to win medals, especially in the men's singles and mixed doubles, in addition to add the biggest amount of points to the world ranking.

Guerrero, owner of two titles in this type of events, said that his desire in Aguascalientes is to be included again among the medalists, as it happened in the most recent editions.

It happens that in 2017 and 2018, he earned silver and bronze medals, respectively, that is why he has remained in the elite of that sport in the American continent.
