US Gov´t Lies to Justify its Failure in Venezuela, Diaz-Canel Says

Havana - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said Thursday the imperial forces are using lies to justify their failures in Venezuela.
'Lies and slurs which are offenses against the Cuban people, they also offend and threaten peoples' sovereignty', Diaz-Canel wrote in Twitter.
'To this wicked practice the Empire turns to justify its disarray in Venezuela. No more lies and threats. Our peoples do not surrender', the Head of State said.
In another message in the web he expressed 'There is no force, threat or blockade which could take us away from our principles of solidarity, internationalism, Latin Americanism, Bolivarianism and love for Marti. Latin America is a Peace Zone. Long live free Cuba'.

Havana - Cuba is a nation with a wealth of culture, stated the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Audrey Azoulay, at the inauguration of the 41st International Festival of New Latin American Cinema on Thursday, running through December 15 in this capital.
