Ivanchuk and Sevian lead Capablanca Chess Tournament

The three games of the fifth round of the Elite group in the 54th Capablanca Memorial Chess Tournament, with stage at Havana´s Habana Libre Hotel, ended up in draws, so there were no changes in the standings.
Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk and American Samuel Sevian remain leaders after the latter signed peace with Cuban Yuri Gonzalez in 39 moves of a Spanish opening.
Ivanchuk drew with Indian Baskaran Adhiban in 55 movements of Nimzo-Indian defense, while
Spanish David Anton and the also local Carlos Albornoz did the same in only 16 moves of a Ruy Lopez opening.
After five rounds, Ivanchuk and Sevian lead with 3.5 points, Anton follows them with three units, Gonzalez and Adhiban appear then with two each and Albornoz (1) ranks last.
Today will be a resting day and in the resumption on Thursday there will be duels between Anton and Ivanchuk, Adhiban vs. Gonzalez and Sevian against Albornoz.
Meanwhile, in the Open group, Cubans Isan Ortiz and Luis Agüero appear as leaders amounting 4.5 units and they will face each other in the sixth round, on Thursday.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''.
