Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, received on Wednesday afternoon Colonel General Nguyen Chi Vinh, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vice Minister of National Defense, and other members of the delegation that accompanies him, who are making an official visit to Cuba invited by the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.

During the fraternal exchange, both leaders praised the excellent friendly relations between the two parties, governments, peoples and armed forces.

The members of the Political Bureau and Corps Generals Leopoldo Cintra Frías and Álvaro López Miera, Minister and First Deputy Minister of the FAR, Chief of the General Staff, respectively, participated in the meeting.
