Evo Morales Said: 'Education Emancipated Us from a Looting Model'

La Paz - Education made us free, emancipated us from a model of plunder without investments, affirmed on Thursday Bolivian President Evo Morales, when inaugurating the educational unit ''San Vicente de Paul'' in the city of El Alto.

The educational facility, built with an investment of 579,140 dollars by the governmental program 'Bolivia changes', benefits over 360 high school students who now have new classrooms, laboratories of physics and chemistry, workshops, ramps for people with disabilities, among others.

Bolivian Head of State recalled that without the struggle of trade union power and the peasant movement natural resources and strategic enterprises would have not been nationalized, a decision that currently helps to meet the needs of all municipalities in the country.

He highlighted the industrialization process developed with the construction of liquid separation plants in Santa Cruz and Tarija to substitute imports of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), and other important projects such as the production of ammonia, urea, methanol, among others.

He assured that this strategy allows to export LPG to Argentina, Peru, Brazil and Paraguay, the latter market maintained by Bolivia at 90 percent.
