Iranian Foreign Minister Demands EU Stick to Nuclear Agreement

Tehran - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamad Yavad Zarif demanded from the European Union (EU) less regret and more commitment to the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan (JCPOA), local news sources say Friday.
'Instead of demanding Iran unilaterally abide by a multilateral agreement, the EU should fulfil its commitments, including the normalization of economic ties', Zarif said in a social media.
The European bloc's secrecy in the face of US hostilities was the main reason for Iran's decision to suspend commitments in the nuclear agreement, the diplomat said.
The agreement, signed in 2015 by Tehran and the 5+1 group (United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia and China, and Germany), the consent is endorsed by a UN Security Council resolution, despite which Washington withdrew it a year ago.
