Costa Rican Sports Minister Praises Cuban Sports System

Havana - Costa Rica''s Sports Minister Hernan Solano acknowledged the virtues of the Cuban sports system this Tuesday after concluding a working visit to the country.
Solano added that 'Cuba is a country with many Olympic medalists and the important thing is to know all this process they have been developing so that we can take advantage of the good things that are possible to apply'.
The Director attended the closing ceremony of the International Chess Tournament Jose Raul Capablanca In Memoriam, where he highlighted the importance of coming to Cuba to know firsthand the experiences of work in sports.
'You have a chain that works for high performance and that is what is important for us, the system that you implement to look for talent', he said.
'We have great professionals, but we need to learn from the experiences of a country like Cuba in which the system is from childhood to high level of performance', the Minister added.
Solano referred to the issue of doping in sport, saying that 'our country is committed to the fight against doping and we have an alliance with Cuba for everything that has to do with anti-doping tests.
