Theater Creation Workshop, with students from the Cuba Socialista and Amado Fonseca schools in San Antonio de los Baños

Miguel García Ordaz, Dr. in Art Sciences and theater director, held a Theater Creation Workshop, with students from the Cuba Socialista and Amado Fonseca schools in San Antonio de los Baños.

The result of this workshop was exhibited at the 1st Community Theater Festival, held at the Theater Hall of the Raymundo Valenzuela House of Culture in Ariguanabo.

My Fifteen Years, Why Mom, Las Martinez, Sisters and El Monte Calvo were the works represented by the students who made the theater vibrate, once again in the Villa del Humor.

Cuban minister stress importance of culture for the fulfillment of Agenda 2030

Paris - Cuba’s Minister of Culture, Alpidio Alonso, assessed the role of culture in the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, during a multilateral forum held ay UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

For the quality of teaching

"At the Eduardo Abela Villarreal Vocational Art School, located in San Antonio de los Baños, the quality of the teaching-educational process is prioritized," said Mirelis Ferrer Llanes, head of the General Teaching Department at this institution.

King of Spain honors Havana´s historian, Eusebio Leal

Havana - The King of Spain, Felipe VI, is presenting the historian of Havana, Eusebio Leal, this Wednesday with the Grand Cross of the Royal and Distinguished Spanish Order of Charles III, in the context of the 500th anniversary of this capital.
