ALBA´s Political Council will meet in Havana

Havana -The 18th Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the People´s of Our America – People´s Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) will be held in the Cuban capital on Tuesday, with the participation of representatives of the member countries of this Latin American and Caribbean integration mechanism.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry website Cubaminrex says the meeting´s agenda will include discussing the threats to regional peace and security, and solidarity and defense of the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela.

Likewise, it will allow continuing deepening political consensus, explore new opportunities for integration and reaffirm the commitment to unity, cooperation and solidarity among the nations that make up the Alliance in the current regional juncture.

Fifty years telling stories

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.

Cuban minister stress importance of culture for the fulfillment of Agenda 2030

Paris - Cuba’s Minister of Culture, Alpidio Alonso, assessed the role of culture in the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, during a multilateral forum held ay UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

For the quality of teaching

"At the Eduardo Abela Villarreal Vocational Art School, located in San Antonio de los Baños, the quality of the teaching-educational process is prioritized," said Mirelis Ferrer Llanes, head of the General Teaching Department at this institution.
