Artemisa, Cuba - A quarter of a century represents more than two decades sustained in time, although ... not stagnant but in constant evolution. 25 years means for some people their whole life, a long relationship, a symbol of adulthood.

For the Bosque Martiano (Marti Forest) of Ariguanabo, the effort is worthwhile when working with love, it is the possibility of remaining in the memory of nature and the History of Cuba.

The trees that José Martí carefully mentioned in his Diario de Campaña ''De Cabo Haitiano a Dos Ríos'', those, the same ones that Rafael Agustín Rodríguez Ortiz planted with his own hands, those leafy, mature, strong trees today celebrated 25 years in the Bosque Martiano of Ariguanabo.

Pioneers, students, professors, workers of the Culture sector, leaders and political officials and representatives of the Ariguanabo people, accompanied the creator of this natural ecological area, known as ''Felo''.

As it is a tradition, wielding the Replica of the Machete of Máximo Gómez Felo urged that the replica of the Bell of La Demajagua be played. The Bayamo Anthem was sung, the Invasor Anthem was played, and everyone remembered the importance of this site, which is History, a symbol of San Antonio de los Baños, and a Marti Forest of Reference in Cuba.

The most emotional and special moment was the cancellation of the postal series dedicated to the 25 years of this Forest, by the Minister of Communications Jorge Luis Perdomo. The Cuban Post Office has captured the life and work of José Martí on these stamps. From now on, 6 stamps and a philatelic sheet are represented with the themes: different places where homage is paid to the Apostle and the Cuban flora, with a historic tree sample such as the ceiba, the dagame, the majagua and the mango.
