Disposable diapers produced in Mariel Special Development Zone will enter the market

Artemisa, Cuba – The disposable diapers, manufactured by Arthis S.A. Company, a joint firm located in the Mariel Special Development Zone, must enter the national market in the last quarter of the year, Granma newspaper reported.
It is expected that they will be commercialized in the chain of stores of the country and will be distribute by the Ministry of Internal Trade in the modules received by the pregnant and bedridden.
The work at this moment is approximately 50 percent of construction, and should end by the end of August or September.
First, they will start with the start-up and production tests this year, until they reach a hundred percent of execution in 2020.
