Cuban President Congratulates Ministry of Interior's Members

Havana - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Thursday congratulated the members of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) on occasion of the 58th anniversary of its foundation, on June 6, 1961.
For its glorious history of heroism, audacity, sacrifice, dedication, fidelity, intelligence and victories, for the present and future they defend, the president posted on his Twitter account.
'The Homeland proudly contemplates them,' he posted on Twitter.
On Wednesday, Army General Raul Castro, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, also congratulated MININT members and praised their work.
MININT was founded to face the US aggressive policy against Cuba after the Revolution triumphed on January 1, 1959.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
