Ex-Judge Moro's Conversations Dig up to Charge Lula

Brasilia - A series of reports from Intercept website bring to light on Monday unpublished and illegal conversations of former judge Sergio Moro with some prosecutors to incriminate former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Such disclosures led by Gleen Greenwald, responsible for the 2013 documents published by Edward Snowden, US National Security Agency (NSA) ex-agent, disclose how the Lava Jato anti-corruption operation is not a legal action.

The talks were obtained a few weeks ago by Intercept through an anonymous source. The reports begin the series with 'The Secret Messages of Lava Jato'.

The first one makes public the political motivations that guided the Lava Jato actions. The second one reveals how Moro instructed procurator Deltan Dallagnol and suggested some changes in the operation, providing some clues and sources for the investigation, and also violating the neutrality of the magistrate.

A third report shows how Lava Jato lied in the Supreme Federal Court about a triplex apartment located at the Sao Paulo coastline.

In that case, Lula was condemned for allegedly acquiring such a house from a construction company in exchange for getting contracts with the state-owned company Petrobras.

Intercept denounces that 'the talks between Moro and Dallagnol proved that the current Minister (of Justice and Public Security) has meddled into the Public Ministry work - which is banned - and was well received, acting informally as an assistant of the indictment'.
