The Caribbean Can Always Count on Cuba, Cuban FM Reiterates

Havana - Cuba''s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez has reiterated this Tuesday that the Caribbean nations can always count on the support and brotherhood of Cuba.
Our relations are based on deep ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation and on the recognition that we share common challenges that only together can face' ,Rodriguez wrote on Twitter.
Rodriguez began a multi-nation tour of the Caribbean this Tuesday that will extend through June 18.
The Foreign Minister will head the Cuban delegation to the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM)-Cuba to be held next Friday in Guyana.
Rodriguez will also make official visits to Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia and Barbados.
This tour -according to the Foreign Ministry's website- will be favorable to reaffirm Cuba's historical relations with the neighboring countries, talk about issues of common interest, and ratify the will to continue strengthening the historical friendship and cooperation ties.
Rodriguez will carry out an extensive program of activities that includes meetings with high-level officials of those nations, collaborators and Cubans residing in those countries.
