In the future several companies, responsible for establishing policies and actions in the field of telecommunications, have created platforms to make operations easier from cell phones. With this purpose, the Telecommunications Company of Cuba SA (Etecsa), designed the Transfermovil computing platform.
Transfermovil is a computing platform for subscribers of the cellular network, which allows them from any mobile terminal, to make online payment of public services and to manage telecommunications services, using their telebanking card that is associated with one of their bank cards, according to the Bank to which it belongs.
Leydi Alfonso Espinosa, communication specialist of the Artemisa Division, informed that in the territory it has been a very accepted service not only by the clients but also by the Telecommunications Agents, who can carry out transactions through USSD messages. With this module, they offer customers different services such as the payment of the telephone bill, using a card previously defined in the application; the recharge of mobile services using a pre-paid amount, starting at 5 CUC; and the recharge of permanent navigation accounts, using the Nauta recharge coupons. Alfonso Espinosa added that, in the banking module, people with a Telebanca card will be able to pay for electricity, water and telephone services, as well as ONAT taxes.
"Users have the possibility to update their version from the Configuration / Update application, if they have the APN NAUTA and activate mobile data on their cell phone through ETECSA_Cuba Servicios Móviles", concluded Leydi.
