Conference on US on Second Day of Debates in Cuba

Havana - The conference on United States studies and hemispheric affairs includes this Thursday a panel to address the project of domination of the northern nation in Latin America, as well as analysis of relations with China.
The second day of debates of the academic event at the University of Havana ( HU ) also includes lectures on U.S. foreign policy.
On Wednesday, conference attendees analyzed the current state of relations with Cuba-U.S., specifically after the activation of several titles of the Helms-Burton Act.
Johana Tablada, Deputy Director of the U.S. Directorate of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, noted that despite the intensification of unilateral coercive measures, there is significant support for Cuba.
At the same time, the Director of the Center for Hemispheric and U.S. Research (Cehseu) of the HU, Raul Rodriguez, stressed the importance of this type of meetings in full hostility reinforced by the northern nation.
The event concludes this Friday and is hosted by the Cehseu.
