UEB Servicios Técnicos Integrales receives National Vanguard Condition

Artemisa, Cuba - The Trade Union of Agricultural, Forestry and Tobacco Workers of the Federation of Cuban Workers (CTC) granted the National Vanguard Condition to the Base Enterprise Unit UEB Servicios Técnicos Integrales, belonging to the Lazaro Peña Tobacco Enterprise, located in San Antonio de los Baños. According to Yosvany Usal Espinosa, the economic plans were over-fulfilled (net sales 119%, profits 115%, productivity 120%).
Luis Enrique Valdés López, member of the National Secretariat of the Forestry and Tobacco Agriculture Trade Union, said: "Within the 40 centers of the Agricultural, Forestry and Tobacco Sector, approved as National Vanguard, this group is an example of how to contribute to the economic development of our society. The tobacco sector, within the Agriculture System, has been developed in terms of organization, planning and results''.
The political-cultural act was attended by leaders of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, the Tobacco Enterprise and representatives of political and mass organizations.
