Venezuelan President Ratifies Willingness to Dialogue with Opposition

Caracas - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Tuesday ratified the Bolivarian Government''s willingness to talk with the opposition in order to seek a solution to the current situation in the country.
'I want to ratify the Venezuelan Government's commitment to the Norway dialogue, with the construction of a permanent board for solutions,' the president said at the Miraflores Palace (the venue of the Executive).
During a working meeting at which the ministerial cabinet assessed the development of the Beautiful Venezuela Mission, the head of State noted that the doors of the Presidential Palace are open for the right-wing groups to be able to forge a political exchange.
Maduro called on the opposition to abandon the actions of treason and plots, 'let's take a single path, that of the Constitution, of understanding, education, without foreign interventionism. That is what I want. This 2019, we will reach a peace agreement for Venezuela,' he added.
In that regard, he said that the details of the meetings held with representatives of Venezuelan opposition in Oslo to stabilize the situation in the South American nation will be made public next week. On May 20, representatives from the Government and the opposition started a series of meetings to seek political stability in Venezuela.
