Full confidence in the Revolution

"The people have received with joy the news about salary increase, and have shown once again full confidence in the direction of the Revolution, never far from worker´s situation . The State will always follow the path of facing the shortcomings of the population. Undoubtedly, salary is not enough , due, among other causes, to the economic blockade that increasingly raises the US government against Cuba. And we have not been able to organize the productive system to bring the people what they need. But everything has not to be asked of the Revolution, it is also to demand of ourselves. "
(Pedro Ferro, Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution)

"This measure is very appropriate, especially for Public Health, because it will help us not only economically but also as an incentive to work, and show the world all the humanistic potentialities of our system." (Oscar Luis Estévez, clinical analysis technician)

"Although the Health sector already had a salary increase in 2014, I consider this a very wise decision. A country without doctors, nurses or teachers can not advance; both sectors are essential, that is why I extend the feelings of many and the satisfaction that educators have benefited. The people have reacted positively. " (Alicia López, Head of Human Resources and Economics at the Adrián Sansaricq Polyclinic)

"I hope that these measures will help teachers put more effort into the classes. All my teachers are very dedicated, and I would like the new students to have teachers like that too. In my preuniversity we do not suffer the absence of teachers, but I know that they are missing in other schools, in subjects prioritized as Mathematics and History and in other Biology.

They recently made the offer the Pedagogical School, and nobody took the step forward for the insufficient payment to the educational sector. (Elianis Torres, eleventh grade student of the IPU Eduardo García Lavandero)

"Precisely for Cuba current times , these measures are so positive. The budgeted sector is the most affected in terms of salary, because of the shortages and the high prices, mainly the journalistic union, which has pronounced itself in this respect for a long time. It is said that this is not the definitive wage reform; we know that, despite the increase, it is still not enough, but it will be a boom among the population. We understand that the situation of the country did not allow the application of this measure, but it was necessary ". (Isnail Albiza Borrego, director of Radio Artemisa)
