President Maduro Receives Indian Peace Ambassador Sri Sri Ravi

Caracas - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Monday received Indian Peace Ambassador Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who will mediate in the dialogue among the country''s major stakeholders.
After the meeting at the Miraflores Palace, the president ratified the roadmap to strengthen the rapprochement between the two parties, following the resumption of a new round of talks in Barbados on Monday.
In statements to reporters, Maduro emphasized the Government's will to find a solution to the tense political situation in Venezuela.
'We have agreed that Sri Sri Ravi will help us in all measures, in the process of peace talks, as he helped Colombia. He has been a mediator in several conflicts,' Maduro pointed out.
'I appreciate his visit to Venezuela and his willingness to help with his methods of mediation and The Art of Living philosophy, to help to carry on peace, the practice of non-violence and to take the path of national unity,' the president stressed.
