Díaz-Canel visits Frank País International Orthopedic Sciences Complex

Miguel Diaz-Canel’s agenda began yesterday, July 18, with a visit of the Frank País International Orthopedic Sciences Complex, which is involved in a major project to renovate its facilities and services. This was just one stop on a tour of such works underway in Havana, as a salute to July 26.
The President of Cuba's Councils of State and Ministers insisted on the importance of updating orthopedic services and developing the hospital as a leading scientific institution in the specialty.
The tour included 16 inpatient wards, the ultrasound department, emergency and administrative area, and the international outpatient clinic.
The President discussed new techniques, surgical equipment, and work at the hospital with doctors and nurses, conversing with patients and their companions, as well.
