Uruguayan Capitan Miranda school sailboat will visit Cuba

Havana - The Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (MINFAR), announced that on Wednesday, July 24, the school sailboat Captain Miranda of the Navy of the Republic of Uruguay is scheduled to arrive at the port of Havana, on an official visit.
In a press release, MINFAR said that during its stay in Cuba the Uruguayan sailors will carry out activities that include courtesy visits to the Second Chief of the Revolutionary Navy and to the president of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in Havana
Visitors will tour places of historical and cultural interest in the Cuban capital which is preparing to celebrate its 500th Anniversary.
The sailboat will remain moored in the Cruise Terminal and Havana residents will be able to visit it on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 July, between 02:00 pm and 07:00 pm.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
