Cuba will observe Official Mourning for the passing of Tunisian President

Havana - The Council of State of the Republic of Cuba has agreed to declare an Official Mourning period, on the occasion of the death of the President of the Tunisian Republic, Béji Caïd Essebsi.
The mourning will be observed from 06:00 hours until 12:00 midnight on 29 July.
During the period, the national flag shall be hoisted at half-mast in public buildings and military institutions.
Essebsi died aged 92 on Thursday.
Thousands of people gathered in the streets of Tunis, the Tunisian capital, on Saturday to bid farewell to their president, elected after the 2011 Arab spring.
The state funeral was attended by international dignitaries, including Algeria's interim President Abdelkader Bensalah, Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, French President Emmanuel Macron and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
