Prices for agricultural products and transport services are regulated in Caimito

Artemisa, Cuba - The Council of the Municipal Administration (CAM) of Caimito in compliance with Resolution No. 302/2019 of the Ministry of Finance and Prices (MFP) agreed to regulate prices for the sale of agricultural products and public transport services that are offered by Self-Employed Workers (TCP), as explained Arelis Andarcio, Chief of the Secretariat of that governing body in the territory.

Royvel Pérez Sánchez, Vice Chief of the CAM said that since Monday 12, Agreement No. 554/19 entered into force, where are defined the maximum prices to be collected by the drivers of the private cars that circulate within the locality in different sections, as well as the services of taxi-bikes also conducted by self-employed workers (TCP).

On the other hand, Caridad Spengler Moriche, First Vice Chief of that management body, added that both the sale of pork and its derivatives through the cooperative forms of production or marketing, as well as the rest of the agricultural products offered by the Non-state workers will also start selling at prices regulated by the CAM from this Wednesday 14, of August.

The directors stated that although a municipal group was created, which is responsible for checking and supervising the compliance with these measures, it is necessary that the population in general support their control.
