Federation of Cuban Women will celebrate its anniversary

The Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) will celebrate its 59th anniversary, on August 23. This women's organization has demonstrated the empowerment of women during all these years.

The secretary general of the Federation of Cuban Women in San Antonio de los Baños, Belquis Rodríguez, stated: ''Several activities take place in the territory to celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the Federation of Cuban Women. We continue to work with family and youth; that is one of the priorities of the FMC: linking young people with the organization. The Federation of Cuban Women along with the Ministry of Education will carry out the workshop ''With the family'' in the educational centers of the municipality, in order to link the family with society''.

''We are very proud as Artemisa received the distinction of Outstanding Province; We are working hard to be recognized as Vanguard Province by 2020'', Rodríguez added.
