Venezuelan Government Assists Millions Affected by Blockade

Cabello stated that the PSUV visited 47,417 communities, in which each household and villagers were attended to investigate the most vulnerable sectors affected by the US-imposed blockade against this nation.
As part of this program, the Ministry of Food is executing a timely assistance to the victims of the economic war, by means of integral days deployed in the communities and in which the National Institute of Nutrition (INN) participates with nutritional assessment of children under 14 years of age, pregnant women and nursing mothers.
After those people are diagnosed, vitamins and supplements are delivered to them and the sovereign and alternative food campaign called 'Agarra Dato y Empatate con el Alternativo' is developed.
Despite the US blockade that prevents the entry of food and medicine into Venezuela, the Bolivarian government is applying a series of strategies to address the consequences of these punitive measures with several social programs.
