Tropical Storm Dorian approaches Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands

Tropical Storm Dorian will hit or near the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico with greater wind strength, says a report from the US National Hurricane Center Wednesday. The fifth meteorological event of the current Atlantic hurricane season has maximum sustained winds of about 95 kilometers per hour, with higher gusts.

According to the forecast, the storm is expected to strengthen today, although a weakening is possible when moving across Puerto Rico.

Located near latitude 17.1 north, longitude 64.1 west, Dorian is moving northwest at about 20 kilometers per hour, and this general movement is expected to continue over the next few days.
