Actions in Bauta to improve the public transport

Artemisa, Cuba - Prioritize the first departure of the routes to other territories; as well as taking full advantage of cargo capacity, are part of the strategies implemented by the management of the Transport Business Unit (UEB) of the municipality of Bauta to minimize the affectations on passenger transportation.
In better conditions than in previous years with a fleet of vehicles in perfect technical condition for the transportation of passengers, the entity prioritizes the systematic approaching to those destinations in rural areas and especially to the municipality of San Antonio de los Baños.
The Bauta Transport Business Unit today has a group of 59 workers and currently has a park of 9 vehicles, including 5 Diana buses, 2 of the Russian brand Paz, a semi-bus and another of the Leyland type.
To guarantee the cargo transportation, the entity has 16 vehicles, including 13 trucks and 3 light trucks, of which 12 of them are currently on service, since 4 of those means are in the repair stage.
