Artemisa, Cuba - The Young Communist League (UJC) in San Antonio de los Baños continues with positive work results and new challenges prior to the IX UJC Congress.
The UJC leaders have been working on the analysis of the youth universe in the work and student centers in order to update the statistics and evaluate the availability, with the aim of selecting the candidates to increase the UJC membership.
San Antonio de los Baños currently has 87 grassroots organizations, with more than 1100 members.
In the first quarter of this year, several meetings were held to guarantee the stability of these young people and increase membership, including young farmers, and those belonging to the Public Health System and the Non-State Sector.
From April to June, the so-called Necessary Connections took place, where debates were held during the recreational activities of each center, as well as the Balance Assemblies Process prior to the XI UJC Congress.
The Municipal Balance Assembly will take place at the end of the year in order to elect the possible delegates to the XI Congress, to be held in April 2020.
