Raul Castro receives former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa

Havana -The First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party, Raúl Castro, received this Friday in Havana former Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa, who is in on the island on a private visit.

During the meeting, they discussed current regional and international issues and agreed that the peoples will resolutely face any imperialist challenge in defense of their sovereignty.

Correa reiterated his solidarity with our people at a time when the U.S. government is taking action against Cuba.
