Seminar on Fidel Castro and Ho Chi Minh's thought begins in Havana

Havana - The 1st Fidel Castro and Ho Chi Minh Academic Seminar began this Tuesday in the Cuban capital, focused on two global figures linked by their thought and history.
The event, a testimonial workshop on the leading figures of the Cuban and Vietnamese revolutions, brings together politicians, deputies and academics at the Communist Party of Cuba's Ñico López School.
The historical links between Castro and Minh and their legacy were highlighted by the institution's Rector, Rosario Pentón, and Dr. Nguyen Viet Thao, vice rector of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
The role of communist party cadres in the revolutionary process, and their training, will be one of the main issues to debate at the seminar.
History, culture and the role of these parties are also part of the analysis of the seminar which ends this Wednesday.
