Díaz-Canel receives King of Eswatini

The President of Cuba´s Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, yesterday received the King of Eswatini, His Majesty Mswati III, on an official visit to our country.
During the cordial meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed the positive state of bilateral relations, based on ties of friendship and collaboration, and expressed their willingness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation. They also discussed topics of international interest.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor were Thulisile Dladla, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Moises Vilakati, Minister of Tourism and Environment; Lizzie Nkosi, Minister of Health; Melusi Masaku, the country’s ambassador in Cuba.
Participating on the Cuban side were Salvador Valdés Mesa, first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers; Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz and José Ángel Portal Miranda, Ministers of Foreign Trade and Investment and Public Health, respectively; Marcelino Medina González, interim foreign minister; and Rodolfo Benítez Verson, concurrent ambassador to the Kingdom of Eswatini.
