Artemisa, Cuba - In a systematic and consecutive way, the Municipal Energy Council of the province of Artemisa analyzes and solves the behavior of electricity expenditure in the capital municipality and provides options and solutions to the irregularities detected.

Measures of importance for this saving are the meter readings at the established times and the comparison of these readings on a daily basis, the systematic check of the breakdown of the electricity consumption for each service and its compliance, as well as the reduction of the use of lights and the check of the reduction of disconnected non-technological climates.

Frank Sánchez, Director of the Business Unit of the Food in Artemisa explained that an important measure is the readjustment in the production of bread that considerably reduces the use of electricity without affecting the population that will receive the regulated bread service in the morning hours and in other services in the afternoon.
