Cuba announced official roster to the Premier 12 Baseball Tournament

The National Baseball Directorate announced the 28-man roster of the Cuba team to attend the 2019 WBSC Premier 12 Tournament, which will be held from November 2-17 in Mexico, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
The squad managed by Miguel Borroto is made up by three catchers, seven infielders, five outfielders and 13 pitchers.
The catchers are: Ariel Martinez (Chunichi Dragons, JAP), Yunior Ibarra (Sancti Spiritus) and Yosvany Alarcon (Las Tunas).

The group must leave next October 24 towards Chinese Taipei to carry out some warm-up matches, prior to the debut of Cuba in group C, on November 6 against Canada.
Australia and South Korea will be Cuba´s other rivals in this Pool that grants two tickets to the Super Round, which will define the finalists who will earn berths to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
