Cuba rises itself facing the Blockade

Artemisa, Cuba – In view of the intensification of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States Government against Cuba and the call of the highest direction of the country to extreme the energy saving measures due to the fuel deficit, the municipal authorities of the municipality of Candelaria immediately activated and developed a plan that is rigorously performed.

From the first moment, the administrative staffs were advised to turn off the electrical equipment in the entities during rush hours and also a call was made to the population to save energy in order to avoid the annoying blackouts.

The José Martí Pioneer Organization from its schools created the Click Patrols and the home visits to commit the neighbors to use only the necessary lights.

At the end of the working day in all entities the equipment is turned off and in the case of the production centers such as the meat-processing industry Fulgencio Oroz Cárnico and the sarcophagus factory, the work schedule was readjusted.
