Diosdado Cabello explains Venezuela's current situation in China

Beijing - The First Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, explained this Wednesday the current situation in Venezuela and Latin America during a conference held in China.

Diosdado Cabello offered an analysis on the subject at the Development Research Center of the State Council before an audience made up of Chinese officials, young people and former diplomats to Latin America, among others.

The conference is part of the busy agenda that has been completed since Cabello's arrival in China on October 12, in the southern province of Guangdong.

On Tuesday, Cabello met with Li Fei, senior official of the National People's Congress. The two high-ranking officials exchanged experiences and Cabello explained that Venezuela has promoted an inclusive political system led by the people, which was reflected in the 1999 Constitution.

As well as meeting with Chinese leaders, the PSUV leader toured sites across Beijing and Guangdong hosting important socio-cultural, economic and technological projects, such as Guangzhou Industrial Design City.

Cabello's official visit coincides with a commemorative program developed by the Venezuelan Embassy in tribute to the 20th anniversary of Hugo Chavez's first visit to China.
