Díaz-Canel received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, received on Wednesday the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, His Excellency Josep Borrell Fontelles, who is making an official visit to Cuba.
In a cordial atmosphere, they discussed the positive relations existing between the Kingdom of Spain and Cuba, based on historical, family and cultural ties, and expressed the will to continue working to strengthen them. They also exchanged about other topics of international events.
Borrell was accompanied by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Juan Pablo de La Iglesia, and the ambassador to Cuba, Juan Fernández Trigo.
On the Cuban side were present the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emilio Lozada Garcia.
Culture
Fidel's presence was recalled in several Ariguanabo centers and institutions. Students from the Eduardo Abela Vocational School of Art, located in San Antonio de los Baños, paid tribute to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, through dance and music.
