Cuban Culture Day in Ariguanabo

As part of the celebrations for the Cuban Culture Day, the IV Ariguanabo Culture Colloquium was held at the José Rafael Lauzán Municipal Museum in San Antonio de los Baños.
Estela Pérez Fernández, director of the Municipal Museum and organizer of the event, reported that eight papers were presented, including the paper by Idael Núñez González dedicated to the Mambi poet Juan Ruperto Delgado and his contribution to Repentism, as well as the Love Day paper by Sirio Suarez Morera, where he recognizes the trajectory of the historian of the municipality through a documentary by the Procine Ariguanabense Association.
On this occasion the colloquium was dedicated to the 80th birthday of José Miguel Delgado López, historian of the municipality, and Nicanor León Cotayo, illustrious son of Ariguanabo.
As part of the celebrations for the Day of Cuban Culture, the Downloadable Tertulia will be held at the Municipal Museum on October 27, when this space will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its creation.
