Caracas - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro informed that evidence on plans prepared by the right to destabilize the country will soon be presented.
'We are going to present some evidence of certain 'guarimbero' (violent rioting by opposition sectors) attempts that are intended for November, which I am denouncing. What awaits 'guarimberos' is jail, justice, this is what awaits those who get involved in 'guarimbas' again,' the president stressed on Wednesday.
Maduro noted that solid evidence will be presented about the violent plans of extreme sectors of the Venezuelan right intended for November, and reiterated that those who intend to undertake such acts will be tried by the competent authorities.
The so-called 'guarimbas,' a term associated with vandalism, violent riots and barricades that lead to clashes, are a strategy used by sectors of the Venezuelan right to destabilize the nation, according to authorities.
Every so often and amid tense situations in the country, this sector of the opposition promotes such acts of vandalism to sow chaos, authorities warned.
