Artemisa, Cuba - The International Film and Television School, located in San Antonio de los Baños, as part of the International Workshops, -parallel to the Regular Course- summons the “Lighting and Continuity of Light” workshop, to be held from November 4 to 22 of 2019, with enrollment for 12 students.
During the workshop, studies on Illumination will be taught; specifically, practical cases will be studied under different conditions, so that students learn how to guarantee the continuity of light among each plane of the same sequence and among sequences of the same project. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will learn about the continuity of natural and artificial mixed lights.
Theoretical aspects will be reviewed during the meetings, but the participants will also be able to make a short film, similar to a professional shoot. They must guarantee the continuity of the light at different times and places, as well as in special situations such as lightning, indoor and outdoor rain, smoke and others.
Those interested in the workshop must have previous experience in audiovisual image work, be graduates from a Film School, or have a university level. The workshop is aimed primarily at cinematographers, operators and camera assistants, data managers, video technicians, animators, publicists and image workers in general.
