New economic measures are implemented in Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba - The banking system in the Artemisa province is ready for the implementation of the new measures adopted by the country linked to the protection of our currencies, announced in the La Mesa Redonda TV program with the presence of the Vice President of the Republic Salvador Valdés Mesa and other government authorities.

Miguel Abi Rashed, director of the 2281 branch of the Credit and Service Bank explain to the population through a statement to Radio Artemisa radio station the regulations that benefit a sector of the population and indirectly all Cubans, while representing a mechanism to protect the economy.

Abi Rashed pointed out the relevance of the tax on the US dollar that responds to the risk incurred by the country for operating in this currency, especially considering the hostility of the current scenario.

On the other hand, the use of debit cards in any of its modalities contributes to the computerization of society and is a step forward in the Strategic Development Plan of the nation.
