Young plastic artist joins ACAA

The plastic artist Adonis Marquetty Ponce, from San Antonio de los Baños, recently joined the Cuban Association of Artisans Artists (ACAA).
According to Marcelo Orestes Perera Hernández, president of the ACAA in Artemisa, the young artist was selected for his meritorious work as a Plastic Arts instructor and for his professionalism as artisan of the papier-mâché technique.
During 2019 the plastic artist has focused his work on painting and sculpture with papier-mâché. He also participated in exhibition halls and municipal competitions such as the Francisco Martínez Villamil Landscape Event.
Six plastic artists from the Artemisa province also joined the Cuban Association of Artisans Artists.
