President of Cuba visits historical and religious places of Minsk

Minsk - The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, visited the center of this capital on Tuesday and visited Catholic and Orthodox religious institutions, where he exchanged with their highest authorities.
After visiting the Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park 'Gran Piedra,' the Cuban leader went to the Church of San Simeon and Santa Elena, where he spoke with the Catholic priest Vladislav Savalniuk, after being received by members of that religious center, in the Independence Square.
It is a pleasure and also an opportunity that, as soon as we arrived in this beautiful city of Minsk, we visited its beautiful square and this emblematic Church of this city that keeps so much history and culture.
Thank you very much for having received us, for your kindness and your attentions,' wrote the Cuban president in the visitors' book.
Diaz-Canel Bermudez has already made an official visit to Ireland and plans to participate in the 18th Non-Aligned Summit, to be held in Azerbaijan, as well as making his second visit to Russia as president.
