
Moscow - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez talks on Wednesday with Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church, as part of a final stage of his working visit to this country.
Wednesday's meeting takes place shortly before Diaz-Canel concludes his second stay in Russia, the first after his election as President of the Republic of Cuba, according to the new Constitution of the island.
The Cuban president met on Tuesday with Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev at the Russian government's Protocol Palace, and his peer Vladimir Putin, at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence outside Moscow.
The Cuban head of State also visited the Zaryadye Park, located near the Kremlin, where he enjoyed a 5D demonstration of the main places in Russia, and the Tretyakov Gallery, while touring the Arbat Boulevard.
The Cuban president also met on Tuesday with Russian businessmen, where the status of the joint projects in the construction of oil facilities in the island with Russian cooperation was reviewed.
The working visit to Russia is part of a European tour of the Cuban president that already included Ireland, Belarus and Azerbaijan.
