Artemisa, Cuba - Twice a month in the nursing home for aged people of the municipality of Candelaria, arts instructors from the different expressions of the "Enrique Jorrín" House of Culture of this territory are welcomed, who carry out the activity "Wings of Life".

Caridad Iglesias, director of the cultural institution, explained that this activity is committed to improving the quality of life of grandparents of Candelaria. In addition, all the expressions of art are present.

The director added that the main objective of this activity is to ensure that grandparents feel protagonists and participate to achieve their satisfaction.

In addition to this Alas de Vida project, the grandparents' home has a craft workshop and a dance workshop, also attended by specialists from the House of Culture.
